That’s it…it’s time for me to quit social media.

At least for 30 days…

To kick off the New Year I will be saying “bye bye bye” to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for the month of January and there are 3 big, personal reasons why.

I’m not judging you if you don’t want to join me. In fact, I’m not even issuing you a challenge. Instead in this video I’m opening up to WHY I personally need to step away from all things Social Media for a month.

Hope you find it encouraging and helpful…oh and Happy New Year!

  1. Good call Graham. This concept and/or idea has been in my head for quite a while now.
For a more balanced society, I feel like the addiction of social media should be used for a maximum of one week out of each month.

  2. Cheering you on Graham! I’ve always appreciated your desire to be real and honest with the folks viewing your content… at least that’s been my perception. Your role as a Husband, Father, Son and Friend is so much more important than any other of the “hats” you wear… in fact the hats will come and go but being a Husband, Father, Son and Friend is a 24/7/ 365 role… it’s who we really are!
So as I say cheering you on and praying for good things to come from this choice you’re making.
    Blessings
    Chip

  3. I think this is a very big issue and I appreciate your honesty. What a wonderful decision to make & share on behalf of your family and yourself. I commend you. I have the same love/hate relationship with social. I will be taking a break, as well. I do believe God is the source/giver of all things and we need to steward our time, hearts and business well. Thank you and Happy New Year.

Honest and rational take on Social Media and it’s issues. Thank you for saying this.

Happy New Year to you, as well

    Cheers !

  5. Well done Graham. I look forward to your debriefing report. I think I’m going to share this on my FB groups I’m a member of. P.s. Happy New Year πŸŽ‰πŸ˜€πŸŽΆπŸŽΉπŸŽ€πŸ€“πŸŒž

Fantastic share! A direct hit with most people I think. Thanks for you’re direct honesty and breakdown of how this manifests in your own life. Have a great month off.

  8. Hello Graham !
I have leaved my facebook page from 15 days now… I was on it still 2008 and i understand what you mean…
And sincerely, today, i feel that it’s good for the mind to disconnect for a while.
Happy new year and thank you a lot for all what you’re giving because it is still a lot !

  9. Hey Graham!
This is awesome! I actually just did this for the month of December, and it was so so good for my heart and soul as a biz owner. Ultimately at the end of it, I gained followers, lol. But it helped me really step back and focus on getting my business into balance, spend more real time with my family, and start this year under so much less pressure to post post post. Enjoy your break! So happy more and more people are doing this!

  10. Happy New Year Graham!

I’ve been slowly starting to wean myself from SM, and need to do this as well…

As always, wishing you only the best! You are an amazing man, who sincerely does inspire me! God bless you…
