Graham Cochrane (00:04.514)
Most people think making fifty thousand dollars in thirty days is impossible, especially with no audience, no funnel, or no ad budget. But what if it wasn't about working harder, getting lucky, or going viral? What if it was a lot simpler than that? A client of mine did this exactly recently. She had no funnel, no ads, no big following. She didn't even have a website page for her offer. And today.
I'm gonna walk you through exactly what she did and the one thing she built first that made all of it possible.
Graham Cochrane (01:07.746)
Now, if you're an entrepreneur that hasn't sold anything before and you're kickstarting a new brand, or you've sold things in the past, but it's just gotten harder to sell the old thing. You're building something new, or you're pivoting, or you're rebuilding your business model, or imagining this new frontier in an AI saturated world. You want to lean in for today's episode because I'm going to simplify this process for you and show you how to make good money fast and show you how much simpler it is. Now, Britney.
joined one of my coaching programs a few months ago. She joined it, she invested, and she wanted to fix her old business that she had let die. And for context, Brittany had been an online coach years ago and she had sold a lot of courses and done a lot of content and she wasn't new to the game of online business, but she shut down her business for a season so she could homeschool her four kids.
She did some other passion projects like writing a book that's being published and just focused on her family for a season. She came back into my ecosystem and my world, came to one of my events, joined one of my coaching programs because she realized now was the time to reboot her business from scratch. She hadn't sold anything in years. She hadn't been sending out emails. She hadn't been posting content. She had just walked away from the things she had built in the past. So for her, it felt like starting all over again. And she was overwhelmed.
Partly because she felt out of practice, things have changed a lot in the years since since she'd been gone. Two, she felt like her audience didn't know who she was anymore. And she felt like she had to really kind of start it from from scratch and and begin again, as it were. And three, she knew she didn't want to sell what she'd used to sold before, which were typical low ticket courses. Even though she had done really well with those, she knew the tide was shifting and things were different. And we've been talking about that a lot on this show, right? The courses are dead. That that's why I don't sell courses anymore.
And neither should you if you really care about winning in this AI-driven world. So when she joined the program, her biggest concern was how does this work, but how can it work quickly? And the beautiful thing is, is she, and what I love about Britney, she's a model student, model client. She is willing to trust me and she's willing to run the play that I give her. So let me give you the play that I gave her.
Graham Cochrane (03:30.52)
That allowed her to make fifty thousand dollars in her first thirty days of joining my program.
The number one thing you gotta understand that she built first before she did anything, because I made her. The number one thing you must build first before you do anything, if you care about winning and if you trust me, is she built an offer. And you need to build an offer. Now, what is an offer? It's not your course, it's not your book. An offer is an invitation for transformation.
An offer is an invitation for transformation. That's it. The way you fulfill that offer, the format, the length, the timetable, whether it's virtual or in person, those are semantics. Those are details that you get to decide. But the offer is an invitation for transformation. And I made her create a really good offer before she did.
Anything else. And that's what I would want you to do. Your offer is everything. When you get the offer right, everything becomes easier. If you have a weak offer, everything is harder. And I know this because I've had very weak offers. And it's taken me years to learn how to craft irresistible premium offers that make selling easy. So this is where I'm going to go with this. The number one thing you need to build, the only way to make 50K in the next 30 days is
It is not to post a ton on TikTok. It is not to send a thousand emails. It is not to try to craft the best VSL and the best landing page and get Claude to help you with the perfect sales copy. All of those things are not the thing. You need to stop doing all those things. Give yourself permission to stop doing all those things. Spend a moment and craft a killer offer. Once you have that offer, everything else becomes simpler. So
Graham Cochrane (05:35.149)
Let me teach you how to craft an offer. And what I want to give you are three simple questions. If you can write them down, write them down. But if you can answer these questions, you will be able to craft a better offer than most people. So, as simple as this is, most people get it wrong. So I'm going to warn you most people go, yeah, duh. But no, it's not, yeah, duh. No one's doing this. And I know because they're not selling.
they have things for sale, but they're not selling. But Britney did this, and that's why she was able to sell $50,000 in the first 30 days. And you can too. Question number one. Who can you help? Who can you help?
Graham Cochrane (06:23.288)
Okay, I mean it's a really basic question, but have you thought about that? Who are you, as my friend Rory Vaden would say, most powerfully positioned to serve?
Graham Cochrane (06:36.674)
Brittany didn't sit around and say, let me start selling stuff to this person and this person, this person. She stopped and thought, who is the avatar? Who is the type of person I am best suited to serve? And she thought about it and realized, you know what? The person I can serve the best is the woman I once was, which is Rory Vaden's famous quote, you're most powerfully positioned to serve the person you once were.
That's not the only person you can serve, but that is the person you likely are most powerfully positioned to serve. So Brittany thought back in time. Who was she before she discovered her calling, her purpose? Right? Chris. So for her, it's Christian women, often who are wives and moms, who feel like life has taken a little bit of a front seat and their their calling and purpose has taken a little bit of a back seat, or it's got a little murky. And so
She helps them think through what is your calling? What is your purpose in life? And how can you live that out? And so that was the person she decided she wanted to build an offer for. Don't build an offer for everyone. Notice she didn't build it for men. She didn't build it for non-faith-based people. She decided very specifically who she wanted to build it for. You don't have to get that narrow, but you absolutely can. Who can you help? Who have you helped?
Who are you helping already? If you're already in business, like get very clear on the person and take it a step further. If you already are doing anything in the world related to what we're trying to talk about and sell today, who are the people you're already helping? Like if you already have a YouTube channel, if you already have an Instagram account, if you already have people you've helped with this or taught this stuff to, like who are think about those actual people, your actual followers, your actual fans.
If you already have clients, who are your best clients? If you sold a course years ago, who are your best customers, even if you haven't sold anything in a long time? Who are they? The people that you can actually help. Because remember, we are in the business of offering transformation. An offer is an invitation to transformation. I cannot transform someone I can't help. That sounds very basic, and neither can you. So don't worry about.
Graham Cochrane (08:57.602)
I can't do this. I can't sell that. I can't. Of course, there's a million things I can't sell, but I know that I can help entrepreneurs who are stuck at 10K, 20K, 30K, 50K a month. I can help them get to a million dollars a year working 20 hours a week or less. I'm really good at that. Who can you help? Second question. What is the biggest problem you could solve for them?
What is the biggest problem you could solve for them? There's no other details to this question. It's literally as simple as this. If you cannot state the problem that your offer solves, you will not make money. So you need to get clear on what is the biggest problem that they have that you can help solve.
You get to choose this problem. You get to own this problem, but this is really important. You've got a person. Now, what is their problem? Person problem. Person problem. Let's keep it so simple. This is the person you can serve and help. This is the biggest problem that they have that you can help solve. And then question number three: what is the payoff that they'd be willing to pay for? What is the payoff they'd be willing to pay for?
This is the result or the outcome that they would gladly hand over their hard earned money to have or achieve or realize or materialize.
Examples of payoffs that people will gladly pay for. Learn how to speak Spanish in the next three months. Virtually eliminate all of your back pain. Help your baby sleep through the night. Scale your business to $100,000 a month and cut your work hours in half.
Graham Cochrane (10:56.386)
Be in the best shape of your life. Look good with your shirt off. I mean, however you want to phrase it, these are payoffs that people are literally paying for today because these are my clients. Okay.
D do you see how we're not selling a course? We're not even selling a coaching program, we're not selling a community, we're not selling coaching, private coaching, we're not selling calls. We're selling payoffs. So who is the person? What is their problem that you're gonna solve? And what is the payoff that they're gonna pay for that they would actually gladly pay for?
If you can answer these three questions, you can make a real killer offer. And guess what's very amazing about this? When you go through this process and you create your offer, when you speak to these people, selling becomes very easy because you're saying, hey, are you this kind of person? Uh-huh. Do you have this problem? yeah. Would you like this payoff? yeah. Well, now we're we're talking. That's all selling is.
is identifying the right person. Do they have this problem? Yes they do. Would they like this outcome or payoff? Yes they would. Now they're in. Now it's just a matter of details. So
That is I I can't I just cannot state how simple this is. So if if if you love money and you want more of it faster, please pause this or take some time today to just answer those questions. Like think about it. Even if you have to take an hour out of your day, shut off all the noise, shut off your phone and say, okay, what are the answers to these three questions? Who could I serve? Who's my person? What is their real problem?
Graham Cochrane (12:47.82)
Not a fake problem that I invented that sounds nice. No, what do they actually say? What is their problem that I could solve? And what is a payoff that they would actually happily pay money for? If you get clarity on these three things, your life is about to change. So this is at a high level what I had Britney do. Now here's what she actually, how did she actually make the 50K in 30 days? Okay. This is so simple. Please do not overcomplicate making money or business.
It's very easy to overcomplicate making money in business. And the reason we do this is because we actually are afraid to be successful. And I know that sounds weird, but we'd rather stay busy doing non-important stuff than doing the one thing that'll actually make us money. And you know what that is? Making offers. And I don't just mean creating it, I mean presenting it to real people. And I don't mean hiding behind a camera. And I don't mean dialing up a sales page. And I don't mean
Squeaking buttons in your Kajabi or go high level or whatever, don't mean opening up a new school group. I mean talking to real people and inviting them into this transformation. So this is what Brittany literally did. I helped her craft a $10,000 offer. She'd never sold anything that expensive before. She had sold a few hundred dollar courses before. I helped her craft an offer worth $10,000, worth way more than that, but she would charge $10,000 for it.
And I said, Brittany, don't overthink this. Don't go build a whole sales page. Don't go build a flunnel. Don't go try to revitalize your YouTube channel. There are people that are already still following you, already still know you exist, that haven't heard from you in a long time. And I know it's a little embarrassing. I know you're kind of getting back on the horse. All you gotta do is reach out to these people and invite them. So what she did is she texted people, she DM'd people, sent a couple of emails to
whatever list old list she had. And it was as simple as this. Hey, I know it's been a while, but I have something I think you might like. If you're this type of woman and you're struggling with this type of problem and you would like this payoff or transformation, let me know. I'd love to share a little bit more about this new program I just created I think will help you. We call this permission based marketing. Because she'd answer those questions, the person, the problem, and the payoff, she was able to reach out to someone via DM and
Graham Cochrane (15:13.248)
And just present it in like 15 seconds. That is a signal. I am that kind of person, Brittany. I do actually have that problem and I would absolutely be very interested in that. For example, like if I reached out to you via DM and I said, Hey.
If you're still doing business and you're an entrepreneur, but you're stuck at like $10,000, $20,000 a month or less and you're working way too much, would you like to hear about how I could get you to $50,000 a month working 20 hours a week or less? Let me know. Like that's how it would look. And you could personalize it or use it in your own language. But if that resonates with you, right? Like, yeah, I am an entrepreneur. I am stuck at less than 20K a month or less than 10K a month.
I would love to get to 50K a month and work 20 hours a week or less. See what I did there. Person, problem, payoff. Then you might DM back. Yeah, I'm very interested. Tell me more. Permission-based marketing. I made an offer to get your permission to share my offer with you. And when you said yes, please, you've now asked me to present my offer to you. You've asked me to sell. These people asked Britney, yes, please sell me more.
And they just she sent over some details. It can be a Google Doc, it can be a Notion doc. It can be a a page if you want, or it can just be some text with details that talks through what the program is, what it does for them, why how it works, what the price is and how to get started. You could invite them to jump on a call with you and say, hey, let's just jump on a quick 20 minute Zoom call and tell you all about it. And no strings attached. If you want it, great. If you don't, you don't.
Then you get them on a call. And that way you can present it to them in real time, like a human, and answer any questions they have about it. Whatever you want to do, it doesn't matter. Brittany messaged out a few people, DMs, texts, and some emails. And within a week, within a week of sending out these messages, she sold five $10,000 offers.
Graham Cochrane (17:20.224)
It's like that simple. And I'm not trying to minimize the work she put into it. I'm just trying to show you that it is not nearly as complicated as you think. If you needed to make $50,000 in the next 30 days, that is the play. Clarity on the offer. Reach out to the people that are right around you. I'm not talking about go find new people, the people that are right around you and make them an offer.
Now, there's a couple things that go into this. One is the price of the offer helps a lot. It's a lot easier to make $50,000 when you have a $10,000 offer than it is to make $50,000 if you have a $97 offer. Very, very important distinction. She only needed five clients to do that. So you can see how premium pricing plays into this, but it's not about audience building. It's about the audience you already have. And even if you don't think you have an audience, there are people that know who you are.
And what you don't know is if they're willing to pay you $10,000. And you don't know that because you've never offered them a $10,000 thing that's any good. But when you make a really good $10,000 thing and you offer it to them, all you're doing is highlighting the transformation they absolutely want and the problem they absolutely still haven't solved. And that you're the person to help them do that. Give those enough people that opportunity and they will say yes. Now
The question becomes, well, how do I know how to craft a really good ten thousand dollar offer? I thought you'd never ask. Next week, I am hosting a five day coaching experience called the 10K Offer Challenge. If you haven't come, what are you doing? Come live, spend five days with me, an hour a day, and I will help you walk out of there with your own perfectly crafted, high ticket, irresistible.
$10,000 offer or whatever price you land on. This has been one of the most transformative events I've ever run. My clients routinely create and sell $10,000, $20,000, $30,000 during the five-day challenge. And many sell them within weeks of coming to the challenge. The thing that I believe stronger than almost anything else right now is that you are one $10,000 offer away from a completely different life.
Graham Cochrane (19:43.959)
It's not audience building that's your problem. It's not funnel building that's your problem. It's not AI tool that's your problem. It's not that you're just not very well known, that's your problem. Your problem is that you don't have a good offer. And any offer you do have, even if you think it's good, it's underpriced. If you get a high-ticket offer that's absolutely irresistible to your right person and learn how to sell it without having to jump in on a bunch of sales calls, your whole life changes.
You can live where you want to live, you can drive what you want to drive, you can go where you want to go, you can work as little as you want to work, not because you became internet famous, not because you mastered Claude, but because you made a better offer and reached out to some people that are right around you who are really in need of transformation, but no one's making them a good enough offer to warrant them fork over their hard-earned money. So come to the challenge.
10k offerchallenge.com. I'm linking to it below in the show notes in the description. So you can come buy a ticket, get a VIP ticket so you can come an hour early each day and get live group coaching with me. You can literally build your offer and present it to me, and I can help you make it better in real time. Those seats are limited. So you want to get a VIP seat before they've sold out, but you need to be in the room. I'm telling you, it's gonna be the best move you make all year in your business.
Britney is really smart. You are really smart. Brittany knew she could help people. You know you can help people. You're already helping people, I'm sure. Brittany was insecure about what to sell and how to price it. And you might be feeling insecure about what to sell and how to price it. Britney felt that she didn't have a warm audience to sell to. You may not feel like you have a warm audience to sell to.
I love Britney's story because it's so real. And yet Britney now is a believer in the high-ticket model. You know who else is a believer? Her husband. We had a coaching call the other day. She said, I just want to let you know my husband said he loves you. and the reason is because financially their lives have completely changed. She's the same person she was before she came into my program. There's no magic here.
Graham Cochrane (22:10.868)
She did the work, but that's the point. She did the work. She made $50,000 in 30 days because she got clear on the one thing that absolutely moves the needle and it's your offer, nothing else. And then she was willing to just present that offer to people. What could be possible for you in the next 30 days, in the next three months, if you just got serious about crafting the best offer you've ever made in your life and had the courage to just present it to people that absolutely would love to pay you? People.
love to pay me and people will love to pay you. And that might feel like a foreign concept, but I'm telling you it is the reality of me and my clients. But you get to choose that reality. And if you make an offer good enough, people absolutely love to pay you.
Come to the challenge and build it for real. And then for the love of all things, don't just come. Or don't just answer these three questions I gave you today and make an offer. Present it to people in need. Are you this person? Do you have this problem? And would you like this payoff? If so, I think you're gonna love what I've created for you. It's as simple as that. Okay, your homework today is to answer those three questions.
Who's your person you can serve? What is the problem that they have that you can solve? And what is the payoff that they would happily pay for? And then if you're real serious about transformation in your own business and life, not just curious, but serious, come to the 10K offer challenge. We're going live next week. It starts on Monday. Get your ticket before the doors close, especially the VIP ticket before those sell out, and they typically do. And let's solve this offer problem once and for all so that your life and business can change for the better.
Hope this helped you and blessed you today. I can't wait to see you on another episode real soon and on the next 10K offer challenge.
